Chris Andrus “Uncle Fallay” (pronounced Fall lay) also known as the “Swingout Guru” gives a melodic vocal interpretation on the original southern soul swing out song, “Wanna Feel Your Body.” Andrus was born in Lafayette, Louisiana where he was inspired by the sounds of southern soul, R&B, and swing out music. Performing in major cities like Washington DC, Las Vegas, New Orleans and many other cities on the east, west, and south coasts. Chris aka “Uncle Fallay” has shared the stage with some of the all-time greats, including Tyrone Davis, Mel Waiters, Michael Cooper (Con Funk Shun), The Zapp Band, The Manhattans, Denise LaSalle, and Barbara Lynn. He has enjoyed several successful album releases and in 2004 Andrus released southern soul’s first music video, Can I Dance With You, filmed in Lafayette, Louisiana at the famous juke joint club, The Willow. The video aired in Buffalo, New York; Jackson, Mississippi; Austin, Texas; and Lafayette Louisiana along with many other television station markets across the United States. He has received major music awards which include “Best Southern Soul Artist of the Year 2010” Jus’ Blues Award, and the 2014 ZBT “People's Choice” Award. He is also a multiple nominee for the ZBT Award 2015 and a two time nominee for “Male Soul Artist of the Year” Jus’ Blues Award. Chris can be seen performing at popular venues like various casinos, concerts, festivals, night clubs, private and social parties, weddings, and church dances. ‘Uncle Fallay” takes you into the ever popular dance music world of southern soul, stepping, and swingout with his skillful rendition of “Wanna Feel Your Body.”
